Wedding Music Scotland
Definitely, we highly recommend you come and see us live. When we have weekends off from weddings we regularly play shows in Glasgow and advertise them on our website. Should one of these dates not be suitable, or if you are travelling a far distance to come and see us, we often will put on a live show at a rehearsal studio in Glasgow at a time and date of your suiting.
How far do you travel?
In 2011 we are playing in Inverness, Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway & the Borders... If you think we are the right band for you... then we will be your band, distance isn't an issue.
How long do you play for? and do you play music during any breaks?
For a standard wedding we would usually play from 8pm-12am with a break during the buffet. During this break would always play music so that your event doesnt lose any atmosphere or momentum. The selection of songs can be chosen yourself, or we can take care of it.
What do you wear?
The boys usually wear shirts and ties and Cariss wears something pretty. If you have a specific dress code then just let us know.
Do you bring all your own equiptment?
Yes. In addition to full backline and instruments, we provide a full PA system and stage lighting system. We also bring along additional dance floor lighting that will often get used depending on the size and shape of the dance floor. All our Equiptment is fully PAT tested and we have full public liability insurance.
Will you learn our first dance?
We sure will. As musicians who have studied Applied Music together at the University of Strathclyde, we are used to spending hours together in rehearsal rooms jamming and working on new material.
Can you play later, we have the venue till 1am?
Yes we can, there is an additional charge for playing after midnight, however we can tailor a later finish and an additional DJ set to make sure you evening can continue into the early hours.
